Penn State Construction served as General Contractor for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of General Services on this $3.25 million dual-site project, constructing new maintenance headquarters for the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources along the Pine Creek Trail corridor. At the Jersey Mills site in Lycoming County, we built a new maintenance building and five-bay storage building, and relocated an existing fuel island. At the Ansonia site in Tioga County, we constructed a new maintenance building, groomer storage building, and wood storage shed, and demolished the existing maintenance building and pole barn to make way for an additional five-bay storage building. Both facilities feature insulated concrete form (ICF) exterior walls, pre-engineered wood roof trusses, standing seam steel roofing, overhead sectional garage doors, vehicle lifts, and full mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems including radiant heat and split-ductless A/C. The project was delivered on a prevailing wage contract as part of the Commonwealth's ongoing investment in State Forest infrastructure.
